Ok driving to San Diego 3 weeks in a row, not so great on the body, but totally worth it!
Yes I have driven to San Diego and back to New Mexico 3 weeks in a row.
I’m extremely tired but really excited.
In that time I have filmed 2 weddings and a concert with my new Canon 5D Mark 2.
The image quality is phenomenal while being extremely versatile!
The footage I shot is some of the best I have ever shot. No joke!
I also find guests aren’t afraid of the camera like they are of a traditional video camera.
This means we capture more guests interactions instead of reactions from the camera.
I recommend the Canon 50mm 1.2L series lens and the Canon 24mm 1.4L series lens for reception filming!
Super fast and super sharp makes for awesome footage!

New Video Gear!!
We here at San Diego High Definition Weddings recently upgraded our cameras from the Sony Xdcam EX line to the Canon 5D Mark 2 and Canon 7D series cameras.
After filming our third event with them in 2 weeks we are in love!
We are truly excited about this.
We can shoot and have your video look like it was shot on a major motion picture film camera.
The image is just sexy as hell!
Ever since we started filming weddings and events in 2004 we have been looking to get the must sought after film look.
It is now here and its made our services better, while actually making them more affordable!
We are excited to be in our profession at this revolutionary time.
We can’t wait to make a wedding movie with you!
